+	Reconditioning & Digitizing In the digital age of computer technology, analogue tapes unfortunately seem to be more and more outdated and don't get used very often anymore. But every once in a while we listen back to the old recordings that we did on tape, and we are stunned by the mighty sound every time. More than once the idea came up to take some samples or even have the tracks remixed entirely. Great idea! But what happens if the tape has become sticky and almost unplayable in the many years of storage time? Analogue tape is not the most long-living medium and this situation is most likely to happen sooner or later. So what do you do? Bury all your plans and throw it all away? NO! We have developed a special heating treatment for tapes, that allows the tape to be played back again. This reconditioning of the tape material will not last forever, so the tracks should be transferred to a computer based recording system as soon as possible. If you have productions from back in the days still on 2" 24-track tape then don't wait for them to fall apart. We will take care of your tapes, refurbish them if necessary and digitize them. You will receive the individual tracks either within a ProTools session and/or as individual high quality audiofiles on a hard drive or CD-R/DVD-R so you can easily integrate them into your DAW environment. Safe forever - at least if you don't forget to backup your harddrives... ;-)

And maybe the original analogue multitrack tapes themselves have actually become dusty in a closet somewhere and perhaps even unplayable in the meantime? In case your tapes are in bad condition and the material has become sticky, we have developed a special heating procedure, which makes the tape playable again so that it can be re-recorded into ProTools.
