Warum Dolby Atmos?

Dolby Atmos is an audio standard that enables immersive, i.e. three-dimensional, listening with any normal headphones.

While conventional stereo has only left, right and center, the mixing in immersive formats like Dolby Atmos takes place in a room - the sound comes from everywhere.

Individual instruments, sounds or tracks sound more defined and much larger in the mix than in stereo.

This opens up countless new creative possibilities for mixing music. Instruments or sounds can be spatially positioned in a completely different way. When listening, we suddenly find ourselves surrounded by music.

A good Dolby Atmos mix can present new, creative sonic experiences and convince with better sound and resolution. Creativity is only limited by taste and musicality.

Dolby Atmos mixes are now available on Apple Music, Tidal and Amazon Music, audible with normal stereo headphones. The output format for those who don't have a Dolby Atmos system with tens of speakers in their living room is a two-channel binaural mix, which enables three-dimensional, immersive listening for the human ear.

In addition to the musical and creative possibilities, publishing your own music in Dolby is also a good promotional tool. On Apple Music, for example, there are special playlists for 3D audio content that are placed very prominently.

Our services

As one of the first Dolby Atmos Music Studios in Germany with one of the largest control rooms we offer:

7.1.4 Dolby Atmos Regie

production

Music production, immersive from start to finish. We take Dolby Atmos into account right from the conception of the production and are one of the few studios with this option to record for an immersive listening experience right from the start.

Mixing

A song is recorded. We get the tracks and mix the song from scratch in Dolby Atmos.

Stem Mixing

A finished production with stereo master already exists. We receive the production in stems and create a 3D mix from it - the most common and easiest way to release your content in Dolby Atmos.
